I’m not sure you’ve already noticed… but anyway there’s a cool service around that not even shortcuts your URL link. It’s called Bit.ly and I love it! 
I’ve played a bit around it and found how easy is to find some good valuable info. Not only you’ll get away those ugly and long links, but you have some great statistics at your disposal!
See for example my newly generated link: http://bit.ly/anleLW when you’d like to see how many clicks, referrals and locations the link generated, just put the word “info” in the URL like this: http://bit.ly/info/anleLW
Can you see the possibilities? I’ve checked the bit.ly links of some fellow marketers and got a valuable information about what’s hot and what’s not!
